As the CDC reports that the coronavirus (COVID-19) has reached pandemic levels, it is important to us that you know the preventative measures in place and actions being taken to protect both our members and our staff.
We are currently following CDC guidelines and recommendations while continuing to monitor ongoing developments. Steel Valley FCU has implemented these precautions.
- Hand sanitizer in the branch locations for Members and Staff
- Washing our hands frequently
- Disinfecting staff work areas and commonly-used surfaces
- Remaining at least 6 feet away from anyone coughing or sneezing
- Preparing our offices for any potential reduction in staff due to illness.
- Updating our emergency notification systems
Your money is safe and accessible. Here are a few tips to ensure that you have the tools that you need. You can use these channels to check balances, transfer funds, deposit checks or find the nearest ATM.
- Verify your debit card limits. You have access to NYCE and Alliance One ATM’s.
- Don’t have a debit card? Ask for the debit card application to be emailed to you.
- Sign up for online banking www.steelvalleyfcu.org Click on “Login to Home Banking” to enroll
- Download our free mobile app (Steel Valley FCU) on the App Store or Google Play
- Remember, we are part of the shared branch network, offering you access to the largest branch network. If our offices are closed, you may be able to visit a shared branch.
- Call our Account verification Line at 216-741-9949 for your account balances
Our dedication to information security remains strong. We will never call or email you and ask for your social security number, account number or password(s). We encourage you to learn more about how to protect your personal information and protect against scammers who may try to take advantage of fears around COVID-19.
